Rita M. Sperling, 85, of Mt. Prospect, passed away peacefully February 2, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Richard E. Sperling. Loving mother of John (LaRae), Phil (Marybeth), Karen (Ken) Wuestenfeld, Cindy (Lee) Theis. Cherished grandmother of Cathy (Adam), Betsy (Ryan), Kelly (Will), Kyle (Aryn), Brian, Nicole, Eric, Jessica, Danny and Marcus. Proud great-grandmother of Grace, Scarlett, and Lyla. Preceded in death by her parents Teofil and Monica Wydrzynski, and her sister Loretta (the late Anthony) Lullo.
Rita loved cooking for her friends while entertaining. She was an accomplished pianist, who loved her family more than anything. She will be dearly missed.
A memorial Mass will be held February 24 at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Main St. (Rt. 83) at Lincoln St. Mt. Prospect. Memorial gathering 9:30 A.M. until Mass 10:30 A.M.
